Vision boards can be an amazing tool to help you manifest your big business vision.
If you’ve read the books ‘The Secret’ or ‘The Law of Attraction’, you will be well versed in the benefits of having a visual reminder of your dream life and goals.
First off, what exactly is a Vision Board?
Vision boards are sometimes called ‘Dream Boards’ or ‘Inspiration Boards’ and they use imagery to represent your big goals in life or business. My board consists of cut out pictures and words from magazines and the internet and sits happily above my computer monitor so I can see it every day.
How do Vision Boards Work?
It’s a scientific fact that our minds respond strongly to visual stimulation. If you put your vision board in a place you will look at it frequently, you will be constantly exposed to the visual representation of your goals, which taps into your subconscious mind.
But your board is not just about material ‘things’. The pictures and words you add to your board will quite often have pleasurable feelings attached to them.
What we focus on expands.
Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises you can do. According to the popular book The Secret,
The law of attraction is forming your entire life experience and it is doing that through your thoughts. When you are visualizing, you are emitting a powerful frequency out into the Universe
Olympic athletes have been using it for decades to improve performance, and Psychology Today reported that the brain patterns activated when a weightlifter lifts heavy weights are also similarly activated when the lifter just imagined (visualized) lifting weights.
